Do any of you recall the opening monologue from the original Star Trek TV series?
The starship Enterprise was given three missions:
1. To explore strange new worlds
2. To seek out new life and new civilizations
3. To boldly go where no man has gone before.
In an interview last fall with the Arab and Muslim news agency, Al Jazeera, NASA administrator Charles Bolden announced that he was also given three missions when President Obama nominated him to become the administrator of the space agency. Those missions are:
1. Help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math
2. Expand our international relationships
3. Find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science … and math and engineering
According to Bolden, the third mission – to reach out to the Muslim world – was first and foremost of those missions.
Now this prompts me to ask what does reaching out to the Muslim world have to do with space exploration? I thought these types of missions would fall more under the Secretary of State, not the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NASA is truly going where no US space agency has gone before, into international politics. Is this why the shuttle missions were scrubbed, to give NASA more time and money to help turn American into a Muslim country?
Why the Muslim world? Why not the Shinto or Hindu or Buddhist or Jewish worlds? Haven’t there been great scientists, mathematicians and engineers from these religions as well?
If you have been following the exploits of President Barak Hussein Obama, it readily becomes apparent that he has been reaching out to the Muslim world from before he became President. Most recently telling Israel to return to its pre-1967 borders, which means turning over large and strategic areas over to their arch enemies, the Palestinians.
Why would a President who has repeatedly stated that he is a Christian and not a Muslim, work so hard to remove and undermine all final vestiges of Christianity from our nation and government, repeatedly shun our strong alliance with Israel and welcome the Muslim nations, people and religion with open arms? These actions go against the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible, when it states to not seek after false gods and false religions.
It appears to me that President Obama is not just a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but more like a devouring lion. He tries to hide his true nature in the guise of Christianity, but his actions say otherwise.
America was established as a Christian nation. Our form of government was created based upon biblical principles and teachings. The first official act of the newly formed American government under the newly elected first President, George Washington, was to pray for God’s guidance. Time and again, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that America was a Christian nation, that is up until 1947.
As a nation, we are losing our Christian heritage and foundations. They are rapidly being replaced with socialistic foundations. The White House openly welcomes Hamas and other Muslim leaders.
What I don’t understand is why Christian America has not recognized the devouring Muslim lion in Christian sheep’s clothing and taken action to stop it. The time is now for Christians to take back our nation and send the lion and his pride of other lions packing to the Middle East where he belongs.
The Koran. It may be the most controversial book in the world.
Some see it as a paean to peace, others call it a violent mandate for worldwide Islamic supremacy. How can one book lead to such dramatically different conclusions?
The truth is, not many Westerners know whats in the Koran, since so few have actually read iteven among the legions of politicians, diplomats, analysts, and editorial writers who vehemently insist that the Koran preaches tolerance.
Now, in The Complete Infidels Guide to the Koran, New York Times bestselling author Robert Spencer unveils the mysteries lying behind this powerful book, guiding readers through the controversies surrounding the Korans origins and its most contentious passages. The Complete Infidels Guide to the Koran reveals:
The true meaning of celebrated and seemingly benign verses, such as Strive in the way of Allah and Persecution is worse than slaughter
How the Koran sanctions domestic abuse, honor killing, and murder
How the Koran not only discourages Infidels from reading it, but mandates that they dont even touch it
Why President Obama is dangerously close to supporting a multiculturalism based on an ideology that aims to destroy the principles America holds dear
Stripping out the obsolete debates, Spencer focuses on the Korans decrees toward Jews, Christians, and other Infidels, explaining how they were viewed in Muhammads time, what theyve supposedly done wrong, and most important, what the Koran has in store for them.
